UAFL - Customer Advisory


Dear Valued Customer, To continue providing our customers with reliable service, and in view of the recent security developments in the Middle East and the resulting operational challenges,

UAFL DMCC has reviewed its service network. The following measures are being implemented to safeguard our vessels, crew members, and cargo, while maintaining operational stability to the extent reasonably practicable. 1. Middle East Express (MEX) – Revised Port Rotation For UAFL DUBAI Voy. 229, the revised port rotation will be as follows: Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Mahe – Mutsamudu – Nacala – Nhava Sheva All previously published schedules, ETAs/ETDs, and routing indications are to be considered provisional and remain subject to operational feasibility, navigational advisories, and port accessibility. For UAFL LIBERTY Voy. 330 Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Karachi – Jebel Ali or Khorafakkan - Mahe – Mutsamudu – Nacala – Nhava Sheva (still remains under review. Further communication will be issued once confirmed). 2. Temporary Suspension of Bookings Acceptance of new bookings from Jebel Ali is hereby suspended, until further notice, on the following services: EGS Service GISA Service A separate notice will be issued once booking acceptance resumes. 3. Implementation of Emergency Contingency Surcharge (ECS) Due to the exceptional operational costs arising from the prevailing regional situation, rerouting requirements, additional security measures, insurance adjustments, fuel price impacts, and schedule disruptions, UAFL will implement an Emergency Contingency Surcharge (ECS) on the affected trades. The surcharge shall apply to: - All existing and new bookings - Cargo not yet shipped - Cargo already on water and not yet discharged - All equipment types, including Dry, Reefer, and Special Equipment Detailed tariff levels, scope of application, and effective dates will be communicated under a separate advisory. Important notes:- - The information provided is for guidance only and may change without prior notice - Vessel schedules, port calls, and cargo acceptance remain strictly subject to safety assessments and operational considerations. - UAFL and its agents shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses, including storage, demurrage, detention, or consequential damages arising from delays, rerouting, or voyage modifications, in accordance with applicable law and the terms and conditions of the Bill of Lading and published tariffs.
