Implementation of Emergency Operational Recovery Surcharge (EORS)
Dear Valued Customers, Due to current operational disruptions impacting vessel operations and cargo flows, additional operational Costs have been incurred to maintain service continuity.
To partially offset these costs, UAFL will implement an Emergency Operational Recovery Surcharge (EORS) as follows. Scope of Application: Applicable to all UAFL trade lanes, from all origins. Equipment Type: All equipment types Surcharge Levels Container Type | Emergency Operational Recovery Surcharge 20’ Container | USD 1,000 per container 40’ Container | USD 2,000 per container Effective Date: 16 March 2025 (based on the shipped on board date), and will remain in effect until further notice.
